In just 9 years, the event has become nationally regarded as recognising the most significant achievements of the young Winemakers of Australia and New Zealand.
On 20th November 2009 our annual black-tie Awards party saw 10 talented young Winemakers compete for 3 prestigious industry accolades:
- The Wine Society Young Winemaker of the Year
currently held by Ryan Aggiss of Flying Fish Cove, WA - The Wine Society Members Choice Award
currently held by Peter Kelly of Thorn-Clarke, SA - The Wine Society Sommeliers Choice Award
currently held by Jen Pfeiffer of Pfeiffer Wines, VIC
